100 Year History
A 100 Year anniversary provided an opportunity to discover Pierce Manufacturing’s rich history as a manufacturer of fire trucks in the automotive industry.
Pierce Manufacturing, a client of The Atom Group (TAG), wanted to publicly announce their 100th anniversary on January 1st, 2013. To do this, they wanted a publicity campaign that included overhauling the existing History section of their website.

We provided creative direction for the 100-year history landing page and provided a unique art direction for the 100-year timeline with the logic that a brick wall background provided an atmosphere similar to a fire department’s own wall of photography and historical memorabilia.

A Unique Timeline
Unlike many timelines out there, this timeline offered a horizontal bar that featured the timeline history, and it included the ability to look at each date in a card by card state with a click state. This unique landing page experience included a brand history, a section for children’s line art of Pierce Fire Trucks for crayons, and much more about the company.
Movie Pop-Up
A unique video was created for the 100 year anniversary which included a positive thankfulness to the workers and the customers ( fire stations ) who helped shape the history of America with Pierce Manufacturing.
